If you haven’t already realized, I’m a bit of an audio-nerd.
I am a student at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. My concentration is Audio for Visual Media. During my time here I’ve worked on a large variety of collaborative and individual projects in post production audio, scoring, sound art, and location sound.
I’m also an intern at NoiseFloor, a great post production studio right here in Chicago. They let me get my hands on all kinds of commercials/short films/radio spots/etc. I’d like to think I make good coffee too.
One of my goals is to work with audio for videogames. To me, that’s one most interesting and rewarding careers in audio today. I’ve always been a gamer, but it wasn’t until I got into the audio world that I was able to appreciate all of the hard work and thought that goes into making interactive audio. It’s a fascinating line of work I hope to be a part of.
